Jackson Hole’s Community Food Pantry

Mission Statement: The Jackson Cupboard provides essential, nutritious food for our community members in need.

Nuestra Mision Es:  Jackson Cupboard ofrece alimentos esenciales y nutritivos para nuestros miembros de la comunidad que lo necesitan. Servicios de habla hispana.

The Jackson Cupboard is a food pantry that opened its doors in 2001 and has been serving the Jackson community since that time.  It is a non-political, non-religious organization. Our food bank operates off of 100% private donation; we receive no government funding. Last year 95% of monetary donations were used to purchase food for our clientele.  In 2017, we served 5,000 people from the Jackson, WY area. We are grateful to the Jackson Hole community and grocery stores for the generosity they have provided.  All client information is strictly confidential.

How to Receive Assistance

*During the coronavirus crisis, the Jackson Cupboard is being lenient on obtaining referrals. If you are able to get one that is preferred. If you are not we are waving this requirement at this time.

Individuals and families in need of food may come to the Jackson Cupboard 3 times without a referral. After 3 visits they must obtain a referral from one of the following Social Service agencies in the valley:

These agencies will review the individual’s situation and discern how long they should receive food from the Jackson Cupboard.

Jackson Cupboard Current Volunteer Needs

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Cupboard!

Currently, food and supply donations are the most pressing needs. Although we’d like to keep willing volunteers in reserve in case our current volunteers have to back out. If you would like to be placed on our volunteer email list please email Rachel Daluge, Operations Director at jacksoncupboard@gmail.com

Most common items needed include: Baking items- cooking oils, flours & sugar, dry pasta, canned fish & meats, canned milk, cereal, instant rice & potatoes, mac & cheese, peanut butter & jellies, ramen noodles, sauces, canned fruit, canned veggies, and can openers.

We understand that times like these are tight for many of us. Try looking in your own pantry and ask a friend/neighbor to do the same to find items to donate that you’re never going to use. As long as it is not open and it is not expired, or more than 3 years old we will take it!

Our preferred drop off hours are Mondays & Thursday 10a-12p.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Our phone number is 307-699-2163 or email us at jacksoncupboard@gmail.com
