Jackson Hole’s Community Food Bank
Mission Statement: The Jackson Cupboard provides essential, nutritious food for our community members in need.
Nuestra Mision Es: Jackson Cupboard ofrece alimentos esenciales y nutritivos para nuestros miembros de la comunidad que lo necesitan.
The Jackson Cupboard is a food bank that opened its doors in 2001 and has been serving the Jackson community since that time. It is a non-political, non-religious organization. Our food bank operates off of 100% private donation; we receive no government funding. Last year 95% of monetary donations were used to purchase food for our clientele. In 2017, we served 5,000 people in need of food. We are grateful to the Jackson Hole community and grocery stores for the generosity they have provided. All client information is strictly confidential.
Metallica Celebrates Nationwide Food Bank Day- The band Metallica has declared Wednesday May 23rd All with in My Hands Day a nationwide effort encouraging their fans to volunteer at local food banks. To support this, the Jackson Cupboard is hosting an event to encourage our community to come by Wednesday, May 23rd anytime between 3p-6p to help stock, clean, breakdown, boxes, take a tour, etc. We’ll be jamming out to Metallica and offering light snacks and drinks. We hope to see you there!
